Ellensburg, Washington (CNN) - Firefighters in Washington State have their hands full battling a dozen wildfires across the state.
Crews say they're starting to gain the upper hand on about half of them.
The so-called snag canyon fire started more than a week ago and has since burned about 94-hundred acres.
Firefighters say it is now 25 percent contained.
It's believed to have been caused by lightning.
