Bystander Pepper Sprayed By Security Guards
Seattle Washington (CNN) - The Seattle police department is investigating this pepper-spray incident over the weekend.
It started when a shirtless man began picking fights with protesters at Westlake mall.
Witnesses say the man then got into an altercation with 25-year old, Raymond Wilford.
Photographer Alex Garland who shot this video says the security guard ignored the man who instigated the trouble and focused on Wilford, shooting the pepper spray in his face.
According to a Seattle police report the security guard deployed the pepper spray when the man "took an aggressive step towards him."
Garland says there was no threat and the security officer clearly singled out the wrong guy.
