RENO, Nev. (AP) _ Another spring storm is bringing snow and
chain controls to the Sierra Nevada.

Chains or snow tires are required on Highway 88 over Carson
Pass, while Interstate 80 over Donner Summit and U.S. 50 over Echo
Summit are open with no controls.

The Boreal and Soda Springs ski resorts atop Donner Summit
report 3 inches of new snow for a storm total of up to 9 inches of
snow.

Water officials say the storm is not expected to provide a major
boost to the Sierra's snowpack, which is below average for a third
straight winter.

The Nevada Highway Patrol reported several weather-related
accidents this morning on U.S. 395 north of Reno.
