CONCORD, N.H. (AP) _ Convicted New Hampshire tax-evader Ed Brownwants to subpoena Ruby Ridge survivor Randy Weaver to testify at Brown's upcoming trial on weapons and explosives charges.

Weaver generally has kept a low profile since the 1992 shootout
in Idaho that killed, his wife, son and a deputy U.S. marshal. But
he came to New Hampshire in 2007 to support Ed Brown and his wife
Elaine while they were holed up in Plainfield and threatening to
harm anyone who tried to arrest them.

The Browns go on trial next week on charges from the standoff
that could earn them minimum prison sentences of 30 years, the
Concord Monitor reports.

The Browns were captured without incident four months after
Weaver visited them.
