WEST HAVEN, Utah (AP) _ Police say the body of a Hooper woman
who went missing about a month ago has been discovered in a field
near West Haven.

Weber County Sheriff's Capt. Klint Anderson says 51-year-old
Katherine ``Kay'' Doutre apparently died days after she disappeared
a month ago.

Anderson says the area where the body was found Sunday was
searched shortly after Doutre's husband reported her missing but
nothing was found.

Anderson says Doutre's husband told police she was distraught
and had been known to disappear for a few hours but that she had
been gone for 24 hours this time. Anderson says Doutre took no
wallet or car with her.

Medical examiners will perform an autopsy.
