SALT LAKE CITY (AP) _ The woman who was driving a bus before it
crashed in Idaho, killing a Utah instructor, will not face charges.

Bannock County, Idaho Chief Deputy Prosecutor Vic Pearson says
it's in the interests of justice not to pursue charges against
Debra Jarvis.

Jarvis, of Spanish Fork, was driving a charter bus on Interstate
15 carrying students and 33-year-old American Fork High School
woodwind instructor Heather Christensen on Oct. 10.

Jarvis blacked out and Christensen was killed in the ensuing
crash.

Jarvis told investigators she had a stomachache but thought she
could make it to a rest stop.

Idaho State Police Capt. Eric Dayley says Jarvis could have been
prosecuted if it was determined she drove knowing she had a medical
issue that would prevent safe driving. Dayley says that to
officials' knowledge, Jarvis' condition wasn't persistent.
