Buildings at Hill AFB safe after bomb threat

HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah (AP) _ Hill Air Force Base in northern
Utah says buildings and facilities have been found to be safe after
an anonymous bomb threat was called in.

The base says it got a call at the main fitness facility
Thursday morning targeting a fitness center on base.

The base says in a statement that emergency teams responded and
evacuated the base's fitness centers and nearby facilities. The
buildings were searched and deemed safe a couple of hours later.

Hill Air Force Base, which is about 30 miles north of Salt Lake
City, says the incident is under investigation.
