LAS VEGAS (AP) _ The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas
says its chief operating officer has died.

Las Vegas police said Tuesday that a man was found dead inside
the home of Randy Kwasniewski (kwas-NEW'-skee).

Police Officer Bill Cassell says police responded just before 10
a.m. to a report of a man dead of a gunshot wound at a home in
northwest Las Vegas.

Lt. George Castro says detectives were later called to
Kwasniewski's house.

The hotel released a statement confirming Kwasniewski's death
and offering prayers for his family, but containing no other
details.

The Hard Rock is owned by Morgans Hotel Group and an equity
partner and is separate from the restaurant chain of the same name.
