Alleged shooters of Hells Angels' President in court
RENO, Nevada (KRNV) Three men charged with the murder of a Hells Angels member appeared in a Nevada court Friday.
Gary Rudnick, Ernesto Gonzalez and Cesar Villagrana are accused of fatally shooting Jeffrey "Jethro" Pettigrew in September. Pettigrew was president of the Hells Angels San Jose chapter. Prosecutors say the three men -- members of rival motorcycle gangs-- agreed to take part in a fight that ended with Pettigrew's fatal shooting. Karl Hall, Washoe Co. Asst. District Attorney says"we have multiple theories, but I'm saying yes, by virtue of their involvement, in a criminal gang and their agreement to engage in a fight involving deadly weapons that they are responsible in part for the death of Mr. Pettigrew. A trial date has been set for October. The three men will be tried together. Comments ( |
