Alternative Spring Break For Idaho Students
Boise, Idaho ( KBOI ) It's already Spring Break for the University of Idaho, but some Vandals wont be enjoying a beach or a party.
These students are participating in Alternative Spring Break. The students will spend the week volunteering at City Light, a shelter for women and children in downtown Boise. "We will be doing a lot of painting, maybe organizing some donated clothing, as well as helping serve lunches. It's challenging and it pushes you out of your comfort zone but it's really worth it," adds Maggy Hand, a junior at the University of Idaho.
