Bill That Would Give Some Pay Raises To Some State Elected Officials Moves Forward

Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - The Idaho Senate give’s the ok to the plan to give the governor, secretary of state, treasurer, controller and the superintendents of schools a 2.5% increase in pay next year and each year after that. Thursday the senate voted 30-5 for the bill which now moves it forward to the House.

The bill also says the attorney General’s pay should raise to what district judges are paid. That means the AG would get a 16% increase. The Lieutenant Governor would be given a 19.6% increase next year followed by 2.5% annual increases.
