Gresham, Oregon (KOIN) Police have found the body of an Oregon barista who went missing earlier this week.

On Friday, Gresham, Oregon police arrested a man, identified as Jonathan Daniel Holt who they say is responsible for the aggravated murder of Whitney Heichel.

Her body was found Friday evening on Larch Mountain, a wooded area about ten miles east of Gresham that has been the focus of search efforts since Thursday.

The FBI, Oregon State Police and the Multnomah County Sheriff's office are assisting in the investigation, with an estimated 40 to 50 detectives involved.

"Words can' begin to express the sadness that our families our experiencing tonight, this has been the most traumatic thing that happened to us," adds Jim Vaugh, the family's spokesman.

According to Gresham Police, Heichel was last seen by her husband, Clinton Heichel, when she left her apartment Tuesday morning.

She was headed to her job at Starbucks about five minutes from her home.
