Carson City, Nevada ( KOLO ) Police in Carson City, Nevada say arrests have been made in connection with the bizarre disappearance of a state employee.

The Carson City Sheriff revealed Saturday that a body was discovered in the Carson River. The body has not been positively identified as that of 62 year–old William McCune.

Results of an autopsy by the medical examiners's office is pending.
McCune is the Chief Insurance Examiner for the state of Nevada. He was reported missing on Thursday when he didn't show up for work and missed a work–related flight.

Deputies went to McCune's home and police say there were clear signs of a struggle along with traces of blood.

Sheriff Ken Furlong says, "I hope that we are able to put some information together soon for the public, because I understand that reason why is actually part of the healing process."

Four suspects have been arrested. Sheriff Furlong says forensic specialists will continue to process McCune's home for evidence.
