Body of missing CA hiker found near bottom of waterfall
YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, California (CNN) Yosemite National Park rangers have recovered the body of a missing hiker.
22–year old Hormiz David and two other hikers were witnessed plunging over Vernal Fall last month. Crews found the body of David on friday in the Merced River, about 240 feet from the base of Vernal Fall. The area where the three were swept away is considered dangerous and the group had crossed the metal guardrail. Search and rescue teams will continue to search for the other two hikers.
