Boise Police Arrest Suspect In Robbery Of Electronics Store
Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Boise Police say a Nevada transient who was arrested in Seattle Washington is the man wanted in connection with the armed robbery of an electronic store.
Patrick Lawrence Duignan, 45 was arrested Tuesday in Seattle on an unrelated matter. After identifying the suspect, police learned of the warrant and arrested him. Boise Police have since made contact with the suspect and gathered further evidence linking him to the crime. A $500,000 felony warrant for Robbery was issued for Duignan with nationwide extradition was issued shortly after the robbery, March 14.
Immediately after the armed robbery of the electronics store on West Overland Road last Friday, patrol officers began searching the area for the suspect. Patrol officers found a man matching the suspect's description had been at a nearby convenience store just prior to the robbery. Using that information, officers were able to identify the suspect and obtain a warrant for his arrest.
Police say the suspect in the robbery used a knife to rom an electronics store near Orchard and Overland.
The suspect is currently in jail in Washington State pending an extradition hearing.
