Boise Police Detain One Person After Convenience Store Robbery

Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Boise Police have one person in custody following a reported robbery of a convenience store. Officers were called at 9:49 p.m. to the convenience store on the 700 block of North Garden Street on the corner of West Emerald Street. Witnesses told officer a man walked into the store, verbally threatened the clerk and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Witnesses were able to give officers a good description of the suspect and said he was last seen headed south on Garden Street.
The description of the suspect was a light skinned male, blond-grey hair, with a closed cropped beard, wearing a long sleeve white shirt, khaki shorts and had sunglasses on top of his head.
Officers were in the area and able to respond very quickly. At approximately 10:30, an officer reported having a man matching the suspect description in custody.
