Bomb Threat Locks Down Kuna High School

Kuna, Idaho ( KBOI2 News ) Officers investigated a bomb threat called in to Kuna High School Thursday.

As soon as the call came in, students and staff were taken outside.

The bomb–squad went into the building to check things out.

Once the all–clear was given, about 90 minutes later, students continued the rest of the school–day.

"It's disrupting to families. It's disrupting to our employees. It's disrupting to police and all these people that were having to respond. Not to mention the loss in education. These students lost an hour of their education today because of the threat," says Assistant Superintendent for the Kuna School District, Wendy Johnson.

Parents were allowed to pick–up their students if they chose.

Now.. Investigators are working on tracking whoever made the threatening phone calls.
