Bus Driver Accused of Intentionally Giving Student Whiplash
Nampa, Idaho (KBOI-TV) "Everybody was fooling around... he hit the breaks and my head went forward." Lacee Zechmann says she hit the seat and bars in front of her.
The girl’s father, Ron Zechmann was furious. "The doctor said she had a closed head injury with whiplash, mild concussion." The 15 year old says the bus driver slams on the breaks often, to settle down the kids on the bus, but this is the first time someone got hurt. "It's completely wrong what he's doing and it's not safe." Brent Carpenter is the owner of Brown Bus Company here in Nampa. He claims the video doesn't show what Zechmann says but they are taking this matter seriously. The bus company did put a second person on the bus with the driver. And that person will be on the bus for a couple more days to evaluate the driver. That’s not enough though for this worried father. "He should have a supervisor with him at all times and shouldn't be driving alone on a bus if he's driving." Comments ( |
