Bus Driver Killed, 45 Injured In Arizona
Las Vegas, Nevada/Arizona (KTNV) At least one person is dead and 45 others injured after a tour bus crashes near Las Vegas.
The crash happening late Friday night near mile marker nineteen on the Arizona side of the Hoover Dam. Officials say the driver of the bus died and at least forty five other passengers are injured. Emergency responders assisted helicopters and ground transportation to assess and treat the passengers. Those injured were transported to area hospitals, including a level one trauma center in Las Vegas. Danita Cohen, University Medical Center, Las Vegas says, "this is why we are here, this is why we are the level one trauma center, we are the only level one trauma center in the state so we are ready for this."
