Bus Plunges From A Bridge Near Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California (KMVT-TV) Hollywood couldn't script it any better-- a transit driver jumps from his bus seconds before it plunges from a bridge. It happened Friday morning near downtown Los Angeles. Local station K-T-L-A is reporting that the driver apparently realized the brakes weren't working and jumped. He made it to safety before it broke through a barrier-- landing on an off-ramp below. No passengers were on board at the time.
