CLINTON, Montana (CBS Newspath) Two people are dead and dozens injured after an icy crash in Montana.

The Montana Highway patrol says a Rimrock Stages bus crashed on Interstate 90 near Clinton Sunday morning.

The wreck left two other people in critical condition with eight considered to have serious injuries.

Meanwhile, an additional 21 with minor injuries were taken to Missoula hospitals.

Sgt. Scott Hoffman, Montana Highway Patrol says, "there were people lying everywhere seriously hurt. It was definitely one of the worst accidents I've seen."

He said there were several people that were thrown from the bus and some trapped underneath.

The bus was on its way from Billings to Missoula when it crashed.
