CO Authorities Looking For Aggressive Mountain Lion

Cheyenne Mountain State Park, Colorado (CNN) "I'm screaming, but I don't think anyone heard me. I really thought he was going to attack me, I just had visions of... I see it crossing through my mind that I was going to get eaten," adds jogger Lindsey Grewe.

Park rangers in Colorado are on the lookout for an aggressive mountain lion that has approached several people.

The first encounter happened at Cheyenne Mountain Park on Friday morning, when a jogger came across the mountain lion eating a deer carcass.

The man made noise, and backed away from the animal.

About 20 minutes later, a female jogger passed the same area and was chased by the mountain lion.

Lindsey Grewe was rescued by park rangers who did hear her screaming.

She says she suffered a sprained knee, but is otherwise okay. Portions of Cheyenne Mountain State Park may be closed as rangers try to find and kill the mountain lion.

They say the animal is too aggressive to stay in the park.
