Caldwell Man Dies When Vehicle Rolls

Nampa, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - A Caldwell Man was killed in a early Sunday Morning accident. Idaho State Police say the accident on Sunday just before 6 am happened on I-84 near Northside Blvd. in Nampa. Michael Garner, 47 of Caldwell was eastbound in a 1967 Ford Pickup. Garner's vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, and then went back into the eastbound lanes of travel. Garner then overcorrected and his vehicle rolled off the right side, coming to rest on its top approximately 30 ft. from the Interstate. Garner succumbed to his injuries on scene. He was wearing a seatbelt.

The eastbound right-hand lane of travel was blocked for approximately three and a half hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
