Change Of Command At Mountain Home Air Force Base

Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The 366th Fighter Wing at Mountain Home Air Force Base has a new leader.

Tuesday morning, Colonel Christopher Short relinquished command to Colonel David Iverson during a ceremony on base.

Iverson was Director of Operation for Headquarters U.S. Forces Japan at Yokota Air Base.

He has more than four-thousand hours of flying time in the F-15E, with 750 of those in combat.

Colonel Short will become commander of the 57th Wing at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.

His nomination to Brigadier General is pending Senate approval.
