BELLINGHAM, Washington (KOMO) A community is in mourning, following the accidental death of a 10–year–old boy.

Investigators say Caleb Kors accidentally hanged himself at his Washington State home, while practicing a circus trick.

Friends say the gifted young performer died doing "what he loved."

We all loved that kid so much.

For Strangely Doesburg, the sudden passing of little Caleb Kors is something that shouldn't have happened.

As a member and teacher of the Bellingham Circus Guild, Strangley saw first hand the raw talent that was bestowed upon young Caleb.

Just incredible fast mind, as far as working on stage. He was a fearless kid, and that is something you need to perform.

According to the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office, Caleb was practicing a trick in his bedroom Monday evening and accidentally hung himself.

He was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center on Tuesday where he later died.

He touched a lot of people. There's just been an outpouring of love and compassion, a lot of sadness," says Holly Miller, President of Geneve Elementary School PTA.

Caleb quickly honed his skills as a performer, doing various tricks... Such as Acro–Balance as demonstrated here by his instructor.

He would often perform at the Bellingham Farmers Market.

Doesburg says, "always inventing, always thinking on his feet and always entertaining. I think he was making more money a month than I was, actually."

But it was his ability to connect with the audience, that some say was ahead of his time.

He could read people, in a way that many adult performers that I know are still learning.
