Concrete Slab Falls Six Stories; Injures Construction Worker At UW
Seattle, Washington (CBS) A crane operator suffered life–threatening injuries when a huge slab of concrete fell at a building demolition project on the University of Washington campus.
It crushed the cab of the man's crane and trapping him inside for more than two hours. Authorities say 20–by–30 foot slab of concrete fell six stories.It took emergency crews more than an hour to to free the man. The incident is being investigated by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. Comments ( |
