Deadly Reno Air Show Crash Remembered
Reno, Nevada (KTVN) It was last year on September 16th when tragedy struck. A plane lost control, then crashed into the grandstands at the Reno–Stead Airport. Several dozen people were injured and eleven were killed including pilot Jimmy Leeward. Before much of the final racing started up Sunday afternoon, folks with the air races held a tribute ceremony in front of thousands in attendance.
