Saratoga Springs, Utah (CNN) Officials in Utah are evaluating whether or not evacuations can be lifted due to a massive fire.

The Dump Fire started Thursday near Saratoga Springs, about an hour south of Salt Lake City.

The fire forced the evacuations of more than three thousand people from their homes. No homes have been burned, but two additional homes needed to be evacuated late last night.

The fire now at approximately 4,100 acres is human caused. Officials say it fortunately bypassed a nearby explosives plant.

"We have record highs of fuel moisture. It's been several years since we've seen this level of field moisture," Jason Curry, Utah Division of Forestry.

Firefighters have a tough weekend ahead as forecasters are calling for temperatures in the 90s and gusty winds.
