Eastern Idaho Authorities Block Roads Following A Standoff With Man
Fort Hall, Idaho (KIFI-TV) - Developing news out of Eastern Idaho this afternoon. Earlier today police blocked off roads near Fort Hall due to a standoff with a man in a red truck in a field.
Police tactical teams have blocked off an area near the intersections of the Philbin and Reservation Roads. Chubbuck and Blackfoot Police and Bingham and Bannock County Sheriffs' deputies have established road blocks. Swat teams armed with assault rifles are also patrolling the area. Initial reports indicate the incident may be related to the disappearance of missing Pocatello woman Angelea "Leah" Schultz, who also goes by Leah Blood. She was last seen Jan. 6. An armored "breaching" vehicle, similar to an Army tank with a battering ram on one side, has also been deployed. Comments ( |
