Fire Near Soldotna Alaska Has Burned 20,000 Acres

Near Soldotna, Alaska (CNN) - Alaska firefighters are battling two wildfires.
The larger fire is near Soldotna.
The funny river fire has burned 20-thousand acres.
So far homeowners in nearby towns have not been ordered to leave.
The smaller of the two started Monday, hundreds of miles away, near the village of Tyonek.
It's burned up one-thousand acres.
Tyonek, home to 180 people, is on the northwest shore of cook inlet.
The fire has forced residents out of their homes.
