Flooding occurs in OR, "State of Emergency" declared
SALEM, Oregon (CNN) Flooding has taken over parts of western Oregon.
Flood waters have reached homes in the Salem area. Some areas saw more than 2 feet of water Thursday. Police have called the flooding a "100–year event." A State of Emergency has been declared in four counties. Some of the flooding has since receded, but many evacuations are still in order and some roads are closed. Comments ( |
