Healthy Newborn Baby Found In Shopping Cart Outside Las Vegas Hospital

Las Vegas, Nevada (KMVT-TV) The Las Vegas Review Journal is reporting that a healthy newborn baby was found outside a hospital Tuesday morning, Las Vegas police said Wednesday.

Police said the baby was found about 3:40 a.m. in a shopping cart at Desert Springs Hospital at 2075 E. Flamingo Road, near Eastern Avenue.

A doctor arriving at the hospital to perform emergency surgery found the baby.

Abuse and Neglect detectives were investigating the case
