Hundreds Of Lightning Strikes Rain Down In Washington

Seattle, Washington (KIRO) A line of powerful rainstorms rained down hundreds of lightning strikes in Washington on Friday.

KIRO-TV Meteorologist Sam Argier tweeted that at one point in the day, the Puget Sound area saw more than 600 lightning strikes.

Thousands of households were without power.

The lightning strikes may have been also to blame for starting fires in the area as well.
