Meridian, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - The Idaho State Police has placed Daniel Howard on administrative leave without pay pending the outcome of criminal charges filed by the Kootenai County Prosecuting Attorney's Office involving allegations stemming from acts occurring in Kootenai and Bonner counties.

The charges against Howard include grand theft, petit theft, possession of an untagged deer involving alleged acts occurring in Kootenai County and forgery, title fraud and grand theft occurring in Bonner County. All allegations were investigated by the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office.
