Southern Idaho ( KIFI-TV ) Could Idaho farm exports set a record three years in a row?
State officials say it is possible.
The Idaho State Department of Agriculture says the value of all Idaho agricultural products exported to other countries was 736 million dollars.
That's almost an 8-percent increase from 2012.
Exports to Asia have also increased.
That's part of Chris Wada's job at Wada Farms.
"My focus has been Asian, I recently spent three weeks there traveling and meeting with customers. It's fascinating, there is so much opportunity there, it's really in its early stages but a lot of room for growth," he explains.
For the potato, another area for growth is the millennial market.
