Idaho Man Faces 1-million Dollar Fine And 20 Years In Jail On Federal Drug Charges

Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Nampa resident Timothy Alan Butterbaugh, 45, was arrested Tuesday on a federal complaint charging him with distributing Methamphetamine. The charges stem from an incident on July 24 according to U.S. Attorney Wendy J. Olson. If convicted, Butterbaugh faces a maximum penalty of twenty years in prison, a maximum fine of $1,000,000, and at least three years of supervised release.
An initial appearance is set for August 30, 2013, at the federal courthouse in Boise. A preliminary hearing will be scheduled at that time.
