In Wake Of LAX Shooting, TSA Recommends Checkpoint Changes

Los Angeles, California (CNN) The TSA wants an increased police presence at airport checkpoints and ticket counters during peak travel times.

That is according to a just-released report.

The review listed a total of 14 recommendations to improve airport safety and security.

The report was ordered after last year's deadly shooting at LAX.

Paul Ciancia is charged with murder in the shooting death of a TSA officer in November.

Two other officers and a passenger were hurt.
