Irvine California Police Officer Suspected In Double Murder

Irvine, California (CNN) - A massive manhunt is underway in Riverside, California for a former L-A-P-D police officer who is considered armed and dangerous.
Three officers were shot overnight, one fatally, while on patrol in Riverside.
33-year-old Christopher Dorner is wanted in connection with the shooting and is the suspect in a double homicide.
Retired L-A-P-D Officer Randy Quan's 28-year-old daughter and her fiancé were shot and killed Sunday.
In 2009, Dorner was fired from the LAPD after a series of review board hearings.
Police say Dorner wrote a 20-page online manifesto containing threats against the people on the review board and specifically named Police Captain Quan.
The search as extended into the Las Vegas area. That is according to a news report from the Las Vegas Review Journal. The newspaper is reporting The man has a home in the area.
Clark County property records show Christopher Jordan Dorner bought home at 724 Loughton St., off Blue Diamond and Fort Apache in 2007. Has also lived in Cedar City.
Meanwhile, signs typically used for Amber Alerts along U.S. Highway 95 currently say "Grey Nissan P/U CA 8D83987 CALL 911"
Nevada Highway Patrol troopers are watching for Dorner and his vehicle on roads leading to the Las Vegas area from Southern California.
