Israeli Prime Minister And California Governor Ink Partnership Deal

Mountain View, California (CNN) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu traveled to California Wednesday for a meeting with Governor Jerry Brown.

The pair inked a deal to expand economic, cultural, and academic cooperation between Israel and California.

The two leaders met at the computer history museum in Mountain View, near San Francisco.

Israeli officials referred to the agreement as a "strategic partnership" that will focus on issues like water conservation, cyber defense, and alternative energy name a few.

Netanyahu's stop in California follows a trip to Washington this week where he met with President Obama.
