LA Clippers Sterlings At It Again In Court
Los Angeles, California (CNN) More legal drama for the family of longtime Los Angeles Clippers' owner Donald Sterling.
Thursday afternoon, a judge denied a court protection request from Sterling's estranged wife Shelly.
She and her attorneys accuse Mr. Sterling of making death threats against one of her lawyers and leaving intimidating threats against two doctors.
Some of the alleged intimidation was caught on voicemail messages entered into the court as exhibits.
The fight between the Sterlings is really over Shelly’s decision to sell the Clippers to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for two billion dollars.
The NBA ordered the sale of the team after Donald Sterling's recorded racist remarks to a companion were made public.
Donald Sterling is fighting to maintain his part of the team.
