CA man allegedly tries to poison wife's cereal
AZUSA, California (CNN) A California man is behind bars after he allegedly tried to poison his wife's cereal.
Fernando Porras is accused of trying to poison his wife's cereal with a cleaning product. It was the couple's daughter who called 9–1–1. She says she knew something was wrong the second she smelled her mother's cereal. Fernanda Porras, the victim's daughter says, "she goes 'something's in it, something's in it. So I went and picked it up and when I saw what was in the cup, I could smell it and i was like 'oh my gosh, this is a chemical." Police became suspicious of Porras when he left the hospital in hurry, just after the first investigators arrived. The victim has been released from the hospital. Comments ( |
