Marsing Man To Spend Time In Prison For Death Of His Wife

Marsing, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - A Marsing man will be behind bars for at least 10 years after being sentenced in the death of his wife. Rodney Wayne Bibbey, 38 of Marsing admitted killing his wife after he said she died changing the oil to her vehicle. Today, he was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the death of Trina Bibbey who died April 4, 2013.

The 35 year old woman died at her residence near Marsing.
According to court records, Bibbey pleaded guilty to second degree murder in exchange for the reduction in charge from first degree.
When investigators arrived at the home they found her pinned under a vehicle. In the court room, an expert testified that there was no way the jack failed on its own.

Bibbey will have to serve at least 10 years behind bars before he’s eligible for parole.
