Mom Helps Kids With Cancer After Daughter's Death
Reno, Nevada (CNN) A Nevada mother honors her daughter's memory by trying to help children fighting cancer.
Eight-year-old Kendrick Wright died on Mother's Day weekend, two years ago.
This year, her mother teamed up with Great Clips and the "Wigs for Kids" organization to help a local child.
Organizers hoped to have enough people donating their hair to make an entire wig.
Tiffany Wright says if her daughter were alive, she would have donated her hair, too…
"She was very caring, very giving - always cared about somebody else before herself."
The event was held at seven locations in and around Reno, Nevada.
