National park ranger killed in Mt. Rainier State Park
MT. RAINIER NATIONAL PARK, Washington (CNN) A search is underway in Mount Rainier National Park for a gunman suspected of killing a female park ranger.
Park officials say another ranger attempted to pull over a driver, who then ran away. Ranger Margaret Anderson then stopped the man, who opened fire — killing her before fleeing on foot. 34–year old Anderson was a mother of two children, ages two and four.
