Nevada Police Officer Kills Wife And Son
Boulder City, Nevada (CNN) - Authorities in Nevada say a police officer killed his wife and son and then took his own life. It happened Monday in Boulder City, Nevada. Police say a Las Vegas officer called 9-1-1 and said he had killed his wife and son. When officers arrived, the man confronted them and refused to put down his weapon. They say he went back inside his home, set it on fire and then killed himself. He had claimed on the 911 tape that he would injure any officer that attempted to come to the scene. The officer was reportedly a 20-year veteran of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
