New Clues Arise In Missing CO Girl Case

Westminister, Colorado (KCNC) Westminster Police in Colorado say the search for missing 10–year–old Jessica Ridgeway has expanded outside the city.

Police renewed their search efforts, as one of the residents in the area sent out an e–mail bulletin with information that he had found a backpack outside of his home that had objects with the name of Jessica Ridgeway on them.

The area was promptly blocked by checkpoints, and all cars were stopped and searched, and identity of the drivers verified. A blood hound was also brought to the area.

Police say they consider this to be a big break in the case.

Ridgeway was last seen Friday morning walking to a park where she normally meets classmates and they walk to school. But police say she didn't make it to the park or school.
