Sun Valley, Idaho (KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV) We all know that Sun Valley is one of America’s best places to ski. But the ski destination is always trying to stay one step ahead of the game.

If you plan to be skiing up in Sun Valley this week, check out Dollar Mountain.

A brand new 22–foot half pipe opened late last week. It's 620 feet long, Olympic size and one biggest in the country.

The pipe is designed to be used by everybody, regardless of skill level.
Plus, this new feature is drawing some of the top talent in the nation.

"We've got Caitlyn Ferrington, she's one our representative team and Ty Barrymore, he's also on a representative team. They are X–Games, Olympic athletes. We've also drawing competitors from the north to the south and all over the world are coming here to train now that we have the 22 ft. half pipe."

The Terrain Park also features a snow sports school for those looking to sharpen their skills. Dollar Mountain is open everyday from nine to four.
