New Home For Fallen "Hotshot's" Family
Tuscon, Arizona (CNN) The family of a fallen "hotshot" firefighter have a new reminder of his legacy.
That's in the form of this house, built with donations.
Roxy Warnecke says she and her husband Billy had drawn up plans to build their dream home.
That all changed when he and 18 other firefighters died in a wildfire last June.
Thanks to the kindness of strangers, her dream is becoming a reality.
"It has been overwhelming, but now, I love it because I know there are people out there that, not just love me, but also Billie and my husband," she explains.
Private contractors and firefighters are working to build the house.
They hope to be finished by May.
