One Person Injured In Two Vehicle Accident On Highway 93

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle crash on US93, near milepost 62, approximately twelve miles north of Twin Falls, ID. Sunday afternoon at 12:55pm.

Lynn A. Nelson, 70, of Twin Falls, ID., was on the right shoulder of the southbound lane of travel of US93, near milepost 62, in a 2002 GMC Sonoma pickup. Nelson was attempting to enter into the southbound lane of travel. James E. Patterson, 80, of Ogden, UT., was driving south on US93 near milepost 62, in a 2005 Lexus LS 430 sedan. Nelson did not see Patterson's vehicle, and pulled into the lane of travel. Patterson's vehicle struck Nelson's vehicle.

Suzanne H. Patterson, 79, of Ogden, UT., was a passenger in James Patterson's vehicle. Suzanne H. Patterson was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls, ID. All subjects were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

There was partial lane blockage on US93 for approximately 35 minutes.
