The Dalles, Oregon (CNN) - In northern Oregon several crews from across the region are battling three fires that have morphed into one.
Lightning sparked the so-called government flat complex fire Friday afternoon.
It's about 83 miles east of Portland.
Dozens of residents have been ordered to make final preparations and be ready to leave.
Crews are using defensive measures to protect a water treatment plant now threatened by the flames.
